I've been trying to find the chapter where Keiichi (Misaki's senior) confesses to Usagi in the manga. Even if it's just the volume number. That'd be great.

I love Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi so much for so long, and it's a shame that it's underrated. Based on looking through this Wiki it seems so plain, no important updates, and a bit lacking. I hope sometime that I and other fans can update this a bit. For the stories are so good, and I normally don't like romance mangas. So, I'll be gathering some more info by going through the manga again, and whenever I have time can maybe help out with the Wiki.

I have a serious headcanon that misaki and shinobu are childhood friends

First off, hi! I've been into JR for years but I've recently decided to give this fandom wiki thing a try! I plan on being somewhat active on here as to keep people hype about the fandom.

Here's where my JR related tangent begins: I honestly adore and love many of the side characters of the series, with Manami and Kaoruko being two of my absolute favourites. I've decided I'd type little forum posts about my opinions on each character (starting with side characters) because I have much love to give.

Starting with: Manami Takahashi

At first, I was neutral towards her. She had no reason to garner my attention at any time besides being one of the main reasons Junjou Romantica happened. It was during the little moments between her and Misaki that really showed off her character, in my opinion. She goes from being just a simple bland character to being someone who 1. cares for Misaki, 2. cares for her son very much, and 3. is more observant than Takahiro.

(SLIGHT SPOILERS (KINDA?))

She's the one who notices Misaki's behavior towards Akihiko and the way they generally act towards each other, leading her to ask about their relationship. What seals her character for me is the fact that she's super supportive of their relationship and keeps it a secret from Takahiro. This shows her integrity and trustworthiness, along with how her relationship with both Misaki and Akihiko is. She understands the both of them enough to hear them out and keep their relationship hidden from Takahiro until they're ready to tell him.

(SPOILERS END HERE)

I honestly think the fandom sleeps on her. (The JR fandom doesn't like women /j). I love everything about her and often find myself smiling just at the mere sighting of her. She's just a supportive sister-in-law, a great mother, and an even better wife. (Also, she totally wears the pants in the relationship. Everyone BUT Takahiro knows that.)

What do you guys think about Manami? Let me know, I'd love an excuse to ramble about her even more than I did already.

Next opinion will be on: Toudo or Kaoruko! (most likely Kaoruko because I have a LOT of things to say about her.)
